Here is a second attempt at Wolverine, man does this guy give me trouble for some reason, compared it to the first shot at this pose and so forth and I'm much happier with this one than I was with the first one.

I tried posting this on the critique but it gave me trouble....so:

"I'm not very good at critiques man, but I'm doing this because you're art is good and you have potential, I just see a lot of the same you're doing. The biggest being anatomy. I suggest getting some throwaway issues of muscle mags and studying how the muscle and sinew act in relation to each other in different poses.

Copy, sketch and draw what you see in real life. Then apply that to your style. For example, here, where the bicep and the deltoid (shoulder) meet, it would look like a sideways 8. I would raise what you see of the shoulder as well. And you have brought the forearm in front of the bicep in a sort of foreshortening but the angle of the hand is 2-D so it's not consistent with that.

The easiest fix is get a relative or partner to model for just 2 minutes and or use yourself when you can. Mirrors help. Especially with the hand, like here...study your own and after a while, you won't need a model or reference.

Taking in your style, you've done a great job with line work and kineticism."

I hope this helps.

GWAR!!, Ok, first I love this version. Second. His right arm, needs a way bigger shoulder and attached higher on the torso. Second, he needs a smaller connection at the elbow. Forearm and bicep size are great, I like the disproportion of it, but it needs to have a more clear separations of parts. Lastly, same with the wrist, needs to be much smaller. Maybe elongate the forearm a bit to accomplish these items. Other than that :headbang:

Thanks Rudy, everyone's crit is pretty much the same on the arm, love the body and head, missed on the arm, I kept going for that short and stout idea and looks like I went a tad to far with it, I definitely see where the issues are and will get those worked on here quickly, but I want to thank you for getting in there and digging on one of my pieces, been a while since we did that so cool. Thanks for the crit, it does help!
